Akela Basak establishes Northstar Research Collective in Ottawa after his first year studying Financial Economics at Carleton University.

Federal Incorporation

Northstar is federally incorporated as a Canadian nonprofit organization, formalizing its structure and commitment to the mission.

Fall 2025

First Client Projects

Northstar completes its first research and consulting engagements for nonprofits and community organizations across Ottawa.

Equity Research Launches
